Set SMTP

Technically speaking, we can send email without setting sent mailbox. Bur as for a backup software, it must be sure the mail reliability and not be judged as spam mail. Therefore, we ask users to set mail account to send email. "Backup to Email" Subjob demands users to provide this account.

The above dialog box is used to set the information of sent mailbox. Here we highlight the Smtp server and user name. Smtp server is generally shown as "smtp.email domain". For example, the smtp server of "abc@yahoo.com" is "smtp.yahoo.com". The user name is generally the character strings in front of '@' in the mailbox.(eg: abc). But some mailboxes use the full email address as a user name(eg: abc@yahoo.com).

Every website of free mail has an instruction for setting client(eg: Outlook). For details, you can refer to the free mail instruction on their websites.
